This week, on Follow Friday I am featuring Indie and Chic, a blog by a girl after my own heart.  She’s closer to my age than a lot of the other bloggers I read (I think), tho I will admit I am older (but only by 3 years).  Samantha blogs about a lot of the same things I like to blog about, and her Etsy store has the same kinds of things in it that I like to make.

I originally found Indie and Chic through another blog I read, Pixies and Bears, which was featured in last week’s Follow Friday

According to Samantha:

[She loves] music, art and Dr. Pepper. [And her] newest obsessions [are] – foxes and Bright Eyes.

Her latest blog post, “Mixture of Happiness,” is just as ecclectic, containing a great little collection of cool things she found on the internet…. sound familiar.  I have an entire section of my blog donated to that stuff (even if I don’t update it nearly enough).  She has found some really cute things.

But she doesn’t just blog about the stuff other people do, she blogs about her life and the projects she makes.  A great example of that is another recent post, a “Minibook Share“, where she showed us and talked about one of her projects and the inspiration behind it.  There’s nothing like that to get you inspired to create something yourself.

Indie and Chic is a great blog with lots of cool randomness… and who doesn’t love randomness?  Take the time and check it out for yourself.
