Today’s project is a hair wrap.  It as actually really simple to make… or it would have been if I hadn’t insisted on folding and ironing all of my fabric too avoid edges.

I cut some fabric into 2 inch strips and folded it the way bias tape is folded – with the edges to the center and then folded over.  Then I braided my fabric until I had about 6 inches left to go around my head.  At this point, I finished the edges to the braid, so it wouldn’t come apart and cut a hair tie into a single elastic string.  I stiched it to the sides of the braids and then hot glued some more of one of the fabrics over that, to make a nice clean edge.

Ta Da!  Complete head wrap… about 1/2 an hour.
