I’m so excited that Sew Can She is having a Crazy Quilt Block Sew-Along!

It’s a great excuse to learn the technique, if it’s new to you.  And there are prizes involved from some great places like fat quarter shop, the sewing loft, and fabric worm. Make sure to get involved with this sew-along if you have the time.  You can find the rules listed in the information from the first week of the sew-along.

I’m not ready to share my project just yet, but here are a couple of my past crazy quilt projects for some inspiration.  And no, this one won’t be as big.  I don’t have that kind of time to finish it.

And if you need a tutorial for crazy quilting – here’s the process I use.

Hope to see you there!

This looks really fun- and like an ideal scrap buster.

Crazy quilts are definitely great scrap busters. I feel like they take longer, but I think it’s because the pieces I used are often very small left overs.
