My weekly update on projects progress.

Finishes

No finishes this week, but I did make some progress on my quilts.

Finished Quilt Tops:

I finished my Triangle Quilt Along top!  I have 2 weeks to get this quilt quilted, so this one should be finished shortly.

But I still haven’t done any work on my other quilts.

Quilt Tops in Progress:

Still no progress on the Impromptu-along quilt that I started last year as part of an ImAGingerMonkey sew-along, or my Christmas crazy quilt.

I’ve also decided to tackle the SewMamaSew #dyosampler quilt along. I’ve got my quilt designed, and will be pulling fabrics soon.

Great progress on the Triangle Quilt Along. I have only spotted it today, and have spent most of the day locating the nearest 60 degree ruler to join in.

If you can’t find one, most of the larger 6×24″ rectangle rulers have 60 degree angles marked on them. That’s what I used for this quilt. Though, I did end up purchasing a 60 degree triangle, as I plan on making a few more triangle quilts.

LOVE your gray triangles! I’m obsessed with gray lately. I also really like your black and white with gray squares top. Lovely!

Thanks so much Laura. The black and white and grey square top is from the “Perfect Ten” pattern by Swirly Girls design.

Gosh you’ve sewn your triangle quilt already?? I better pull my finger out! Love that you are designing your own sampler. That looks like a fun sew along 🙂

    • Andrea on April 10, 2014 at 8:22 am

Thanks for stopping by Serena. I’ve got my top sewn together already because I’m working about a week ahead of the sew along. That gives me an extra week for quilting, because that sometimes takes me a while, especially when my tension starts acting up, which it decided to do last night. The sampler sew along should be a lot of fun. I’m hoping to use it as an excuse to learn to paper piece, among other skills.

Your top turned out fantabulous! Love those pops of pink! Can’t wait to see it all quilted up!
