“If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” We’ve all heard this, but it only works if you have enough sugar in your life. So in honor or that, here’s my favorite homemade lemonade recipe.

I srsly <3 you for posting the lemon syrup recipe!!
My favourite recipe for lemon ade implies DH making it for me…he gets the balance of lemon and sugar just right, even using cold water. His lemon tea is basically lemonade made with tea, only hot.

In summer, I really like yerba maté made cold with lemonade instead of water. The cold version is called "tereré". All you need is some lemonade, a cold cup, and about 1/4 of yerba maté. Put the yerba in the cold cup, top up with lemonade and let it stand for a minute or two. Sip through a bombilla. You should get 3-4 cold-cups full from this amount of yerba.

I glad you found it helpful. If you can’t get fresh lemons, you can use the lemon concentrate, just remember to water it down appropriately.
