This week on #OurProject52 is Photographer’s Choice. I was pretty excited about this, because I love texture and this is a great time of year to capture it. This time of year, when the sun is still on hiatus, but plants are starting to come out of hibernation is great for capturing texture. These are a few of my favorite shots from this week.

I love how you have captured the beauty of the tiny little flowers that go unnoticed; people walk past (and over) them without even seeing them. I don’t know what the blue ones are but if I walked on them in the park my cat would go crazy when I came home, rubbing his face on my shoes!

I’m not sure what those little blue flowers are either, but we get lots of them in our yard this time of year. Shortly, we’ll also have tiny wild violets and once it warms up, we’ll even get a few wild strawberries..

Beautiful photographs, they definitely show a lot of texture.

Thanks Cheryl! I never know what to do with these types of photos, but I really do like taking them.

I’m so happy spring has finally made it and everything is starting to bloom and grow. Great photos!!!

Thanks Sonya! I’m looking forward to the weather getting warm enough to start the garden. I’m really looking forward to some fresh tomatoes.

I love these images. They are so true to what nature is all about, pureness.

Thanks so much Tia! I just need to figure out how to display photos like this. Maybe one or two will eventually end up on a gallery wall

Great pictures, you’ve really captured the essence of spring. I hope to experience that here in the DC area soon. The Cherry Blossoms should pop out within the next two weeks.

Tomorrow they are calling for snow flurries. 🙁 #ourproject52

Don’t feel too bad about that weather. It’s not been warm here either. Below freezing the last two nights. I feel like we had spring for about 2 days and then it decided it wasn’t actually ready to start yet.

Great shots. I love texture as well. It makes photos so interesting. The brown to green ivy is very cool.

Thanks so much Daenel! I’m really learning a lot by following along with the #OurProject52 challenge- and it’s helped me to discover a few awesome blogs, like yours.
