Which book character do you most relate to?

proper-cup-of-teaHaving recently read a lot of Douglas Adams books, I find myself relating to Arthur Dent more than I would like. Granted, I haven’t been to travel the universe with nothing but a towel and my bathrobe, but I do feel very out of place.

More often than not, I feel that I’m being helplessly launched from crisis to crisis – thanks anxiety – when all I really want is to sit down in my own home and enjoy a good cup of tea.  Is that so much to ask? Just a good cup of tea, a book, and a quiet place to read it?

I sometimes think, just like Arthur, that the best solution for the craziness from my life is to just go mad.

Arthur felt happy. He was terribly pleased that the day was for once working out so much according to plan. Only twenty minutes ago he had decided he would go mad, and now here he was already chasing a Chesterfield sofa across the fields of prehistoric Earth.
