IMG_3617Indiana Primary

The Indiana Primary was Tuesday.  I made sure to get out and vote, and if you’re from Indiana, I hope you did too, because that vote mattered a lot.  After our primary, Cruz and Kasich dropped out of the republican presidential race, leaving Trump as the expected republican presidential candidate.  I didn’t personally have a say in that race, as I pulled a democratic ticket for the primary, but the race between Hillary and Bernie was pretty close here, as well.

Plumbing Projects

My husband did a little bit of pluming in our house this week, hooking up the sink we’ve got in the mud room.  This will be great for quick cleanup when coming in from a messy job on the farm.  And, my personal favorite part – I’ll be able to soak or hand wash clothes if I need to.

Summer Hours

Graduation is this weekend at the University, which means that summer hours start on Monday.  We get an extra half-hour off in the afternoons, which is amazing- especially when the weather is nice.  I’m looking forward to that, though it will be lonely on campus with so many less students.

That’s So Throw Back

ES_-_Kim_Safe

The Freeform channel has started a new late night TV block called That’s So Throw Back, featuring Disney shows from the late 90s/early 2000s.  I’m super excited about it, because that means I can watch Kim Possible again. I even set my DVR up to do a series recording.  Are there any shows that you used to watch and would love to see on TV again?

    As Told By Ginger (Nickelodeon)
    Fraggle Rock
    Disney’s Weekenders

Way many years ago, Nicktoons had a spot called Nick at Night where they showed classic UK shorts like The Wombles and Ivor the Engine. From what I see lately, it’s just Spongebob, 24/7/365, for some odd reason.

I know people who love Spongebob, but like Barney, he was after my time. I’ve never really had any love for him. Boomerang is a great channel for older cartoons. When they started the channel they ran things like Bugs Bunny and the Flintstones, but over the years it’s become a storehouse for newer shows that are no longer aired on the main Cartoon Network channel, things like Samauri Jack and The Justice League.
