I finally finished that Halloween quilt that I started in October.  I got the top done before Halloween, but I didn’t take the time to get it it quilted and bound.  So, thanks to this #sew365 resolution, I got caught up on enough other projects, and had no excuse not to finish the quilt.

Halloween Potion Bottle

The quilting on this is super simple stitch-in-the-ditch, and the binding was made with a left over fabric from the back.  I’m really happy with this finish.  Now the question is, did I get this done super late, or amazingly early?

My vote is always for amazingly early! Good for you, being prepared for fall already! 😀 (And it is a very pretty quilt, too! Love the wonky/randomness.)

Clever fussy cut block centres 🙂

Look at you getting your Halloween ’14 quilt done all early! 😉 (shh, I won’t tell) You’re inspiring me to make a crazy quilt. Wait, did I just say that?!

It’s really so much easier than you would think… especially if you forgo the embellishments.

I like this quilt. The centers of each block have such interesting fabric. And the crazy quilting-like technique makes it fun.

Thanks so much! The centers for these blocks were cut from fat quarters from the Spooktacular line by Maude Asbury for Blend Fabrics.
