Chocolate Pour Over Icing

Course Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium saucepot.
  2. Mix well, stirring constantly over low heat until butter is melted.
  3. Bring mixture to boil for one minute.
  4. Remove from heat.

Recipe Notes

This can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated. It is best served warm.
