I feel like a slacker because I’ve hardly gotten anything done on my mini quilt since last week.  The only thing I did get done was the hand embroidery.

But at least my little baby whale is cute! What are you working on this week?

Thanks so much! It’s a free pattern from Wild Olive. She has the cutest embroidery designs.

You may not have done much but what you did is beautiful. This whale is perfect for this fabric. 🙂

Thanks! I’m really happy with how my little whale turned out. Now if I could only get myself in gear and get the thing quilted.

Don’t say “only” when talking about hand embroidery. My goodness, I gave up on that decades ago. Your little whale is some fun!

Thanks Anna! I have to admit the little whale was really easy. It was less than an hour to embroider. Which is good. I get distracted a lot when I’m doing handwork.

You are so right! That little stitched whale is super sweet.
