Everybody loves candy, especially me. I love eating candy almost as much as I love making it. There are tons of fun and creative things that you can do, which are really very simple, but make a big impact. Today I’m going to tell you about one of those projects.
You will need:
- Green melting chocolate
- White melting chocolate (or almond bark)
- Mini Chocolate chips
- Mellow Creme Pumpkins (These are the candy corn pumpkins)
- Toothpicks
- Sheet of blank paper and pen
- Scissors
- Icing piping bag, with large round tip
Instructions:
Write out “Welcome Great Pumpkin” in small script on your paper and cut out. Cut 2 small slits in the bottom center. This will be what attached the sign to your toothpick.
Melt your green chocolate in a microwave save bowl, according to the directions.
Spoon it onto a sheet of wax paper in approximately 2 inch circles; and place 3 pumpkins into the chocolate. It will adhere as it dries.
Let this dry for 5-10 minutes.
Melt your white chocolate and spoon into your icing bag. It will be hot. You may want to use an oven mit to hold it as you make pipe the ghosts.
Pipe a mound of white chocolate behind the middle pumpkin in each candy diorama. and insert the toothpick toward the left (or right) front. Let set for a couple minutes.
Pipe the white chocolate a little higher. The separation should help define your ghouls head. Insert 2 mini chocolate chips for eyes, and let cool. Your diorama candies are done!
