Chocolate-Cherry Cansicle

This recipe came out of a cookbook that Matt’s mom got him when he first moved out of the house. It’s called A Man, A Can, A Plan and is full of quick easy recipes from canned foods.
Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz.) canned cherry pie filling, frozen in can
- 1/2 (of 16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
- 1 T brandy
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Dig out frozen contents of cherry can and dump in blender.
- Pour in chocolate syrup, brandy and vanilla.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into shallow metal container and freeze for 2 hours, or until frozen.
- Transfer extra portions to an air-tight container.
