Pumpkin Spiced and Iced Cookies

Ingredients:
Cookies
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 can (15 oz.) Libby’s 100% Pure Pumpkin
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c. (12 oz. package) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Glaze
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 – 1 1/2 T milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Cookies
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease baking sheets.
- Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside.
- In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Beat in pumpkin, eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in morsels and nuts.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared pans.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
- Drizzle with glaze.
Glaze
- Combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla in small bowl. Mix well.
