A couple weeks ago, someone on instagram got the brilliant idea to start a hashtag for a big fabric destashing project.  I think it was @twomoreseconds, as she has a blog post about it.

But, what started out as a small destash of fabrics exploded. Almost all of the crafty people I followed on instagram participated, either by buying or by selling fabrics.  I even got some lovely fabrics myself.  I purchased mine from Dizzy Little Kingdom, who incidentally does have an Etsy shop, where she sells adorable handmade softies and home goods, if you’re interested.

The fabric I got was from the Paris Flea Market line by 3 Sisters for Moda.  I’m not sure what I want to make with them yet, but they are absolutely lovely.

Did you participate in #thegreatfabricdestash? What did you get, and what will you use it for? Any ideas what I should make with my Paris Flea Market fabric? I’ve got 1/2 a dozen different fat quarters to work from.
