The world is a frozen wonderland….
The inside of my house is warm and friendly- filled with hot chai latte.
And hugs from my husband and the cat.
How do things look from where you are?

The year has got the turn here, Andrea. No pics to share, but the light says “spring” and by noon you wish you’d worn a lighter jacket. Woke up in the middle of the night and felt too warm…need to take a blanket off the bed.
I wish it was that way here, but I think our spring is on hold. It’s almost noon here and only 28 degrees (-2.2 Celsius) here and it’s almost noon. They’re even calling for another 6-12″ of snow from Sunday night into Monday morning.
Well, I’m in San Antonio and today is bright, sunny but very chilly and windy. My kids are eating lunch and I’m watching them wondering how many strawberries they’re going to eat before falling into a strawberry induced slumber, LOL! I love the way your trees look. I miss the winter and snow sometimes.
I’d take your chilly day over my chilly day today, but they’ll be gone soon enough. Strawberries are wonderful. Are they in season down there now? I love the way ice and snow looks on the trees too. I just don’t like to be out in it too long.
Great pictures, we got 3 inches of snow last night. It melted away today though. lol #ourproject52
I wish ours would melt. I don’t mind the snow, except that my shoes get wet and then I have a wet butt when I forget and sit on my feet. 😉
I love photos of snow covered scenery. Where I live it’s sunny but very cold today. We have actually had snow two days this week, but have a chance of 60 degree weather next week.
60 degree weather sounds lovely. It’s barely gotten above freezing here in the last couple weeks.
Snow is beautiful but I am over it too. I have been trying to escape and these storms get in the way of travel.
Oh no! That has to be the worst. I hope you managed to get where you were going.
Ooh, so cold and snowy your way. I love a great cup of chai though! Stay warm and cozy.
Thanks so much Shon! I will certainly try.
Wow that looks cold! In the California desert we start dressing like Eskimos the minute it hits 65-70 degrees! Hahaha 😀
Wow! I would love to see 65-70 degrees, of course, I can’t complain too much. It may only be 22 degrees right now, but we’re not in a multi-year drought.
Today I went out and was so aware of birdsong! After the very cold weather we’ve had for the last month, spring sprung yesterday and the birds are back. It has definitely come in like a lamb…I hope we get some lion-like weather in the shape of rain, as this winter we’ve had very little in our region. The rest of Spain has had plenty of precip, but we’re lagging behind.
I’d send you some of our rain, but it would probably get lost somewhere over the Atlantic. 🙂 It must be nice to have the birds back. I saw one of Friday, which made me happy, but I think it was a fluke because I haven’t seen one since, and we’re supposed to get another snow storm on Wednesday.
I see all the snow photos and feel the need to move even further south. I can’t do it! It’s pretty though!
Hah! I don’t generally mind the snow, but I’m ready for some more green. The snow has finally melted, but I may still have a bit of trouble getting the photo this week. My yard currently looks like something akin to the Bog of Eternal Stench. With the ground soaked thru, I may be raising ducks in a backyard marsh soon.
