It’s Wednesday already… and time for another installment of Wee Bit Wednesday! Topics for today include: milking cows, alarm clocks and bad cooking.
{one} have you ever milked a cow or a goat? It has been quite a while, but I spent one summer of my childhood at a babysitter’s who lived on a farm. I got to milk their cow Daisy. We even got to make ice cream and cheese with the cream from the milk.
{two} what sound does your alarm make when it goes off in the morning? My alarm used to wake me up with Morning Edition on NPR… but now I’ve had trouble getting out of bed in the morning since I got married, so now, I wake up to the evil digital alarm clock buzz.
{three} chocolate milk or hot chocolate? Hot Chocolate… especially the wonderful hot chocolate at The Farmer’s Daughter.
{four} what is one of the quirkiest things about you? I can’t pick a style. Walking into my closet, you would think I’d been hogtied and drug thru a goodwill store. I’ve got tons a vintage clothes, right next to my suits and dresses.
{five} are you more like your mom or your dad? Probably a little of both. I definately got my dad’s spending habits, but I’d like to think I got my love of cooking from my mom.
{six} do you sleep with the tv on? I do sometimes sleep with the TV on when I’m by myself…. I got used to noise when I was in college, but my husband can’t stand it when he is trying to sleep.
{seven} if you were a crayon, what color would you be? Prussian Blue. (I think they have renamed it “Midnight Blue”)
{eight} ross, joey, or chandler? Not a big friends fan, but I had to pick, I’d take Ross.
{nine} do you play any musical instruments? I took piano for a short time as a child, but never did get the hang of it…. but, I used to play the recorder. Does that count?
{ten} what’s the worst thing you’ve ever cooked/baked? Probably the seafood bake I made for Lent last year. It’s the only thing I’ve ever made that my husband refused to eat.
