Yesterday’s image theme from The Idea Room was “Celebrate”. What better day to photograph celebration than a national holiday?
I had a pretty good one myself. I spent most of the day out at my mom’s house teaching my youngest sister how to make my Bread and Butter Pickles.
In the evening, my husband and I went to the local city fireworks with his family. It’s a good time filled with homemade ice cream, popcorn and visiting. I was too busy visiting to get many photos before the fireworks started, but once they did, I took the opportunity to take a few shots.
