Today’s craft projects are the bouquets that I made for my wedding.  To save money for my wedding, and because I thought it would be fun, I designed my own bouquet as well as all of the other floral arrangements we used for the wedding.

The finished bouquet was *huge* but it balanced out my dress which was full (we added nine yards of toole under the skirt) with a chapel legnth train.  I used deep red Asiatic lilies, pearls, crystals, feathers, and even a cardinal in my bouquet.

After I finished my bridal bouquet, I set to work on the bridesmaid bouquets for my sisters.  These featured a single Aisiatic lilly with lots of small red and white flowers and some of the crystals and pearls.  Fortunately, since I only had 2 bridesmaids, it didn’t take much time to complete them.  The bouquets I made for them were meant to be carried in the crook of the elbow.
