This week I wanted to feature another one of the quilts in my collection. This lap quilt was a wedding gift from my cousin Susan. It’s super soft and warm – along with being beautifully made. (Susan, you can feel free to make me a quilt any time.)
And it matches the decore in my house. I usually keep it on the back of my computer chair in case I get a little chilly.
Of course, I’m not the only one that likes this quilt. Mouse always tries to steal it from me.
Has anyone ever made you a quilt as a gift?

I’m awaiting a quilt now actually. Grandma and I found a quilt top my mom bought. We’ve been adding 4 inch squares around it to make it bigger. I have quilts still my great grandma made me when I was little too.
Is your grama doing the quilting?
Yes she is. It’s a printed double ring quilt top, so she’ll be doing the stitch in the ditch on that. We are adding rows of squares around it to make it bigger. Great Grandma’s quilts are all knotted though.
THANKS for sharing this lap quilt…it really does look cozy..lucky you! Love the blues and greens combined with the black and browns.
Thank you for stopping by Valerie. I really do love this quilt. It’s the only quilt anyone has ever made just for me.
