Finished Quilt Tops:
Still no new finished quilt top this week, but I did pick out backing fabric for the Impromptu quilt. I’m going with a wide backing in a nice orange batik, and will pair it with my left over blue-grey painter’s canvas fabric from the front and a charm pack of Comma that I picked up when I purchased the layer cake I used for the front.
I think it will come out pretty nicely, and should leave me plenty of the batik for the binding.
Quilt Tops in Progress:
I’ve made quite a bit of progress on my communique quilt in the last week. I completed the additional top and bottom sections, adding them to the quilt center, and I started piecing my side panel additions. It must be going well, because the cat seems to like it.
And I even took the Christmas crazy quilt out of storage and started doing a little handwork again.
But enough about me. What are you working on right now?

I love it when a quilt top is cat approved!
It’s the best! Even if it does make the quilt a little furry.
Mouse is adorable! Would like to see more of your crazy quilt. Visiting from Sew Fresh Quilts Let’s Bee Social.
Thanks Carole! I’ll email you some links.
Lovely progress, Andrea. Looks like your cat thinks so too! Glad to see you have been doing some more work on the Christmas quilt also. Bravo!
Thanks Lorna! It will hopefully get some more attention once my summer shows come on, so that I am not sitting in front of the TV doing absolutely nothing.
