Happy 4th of July to all of my American readers. As you already know, this is a very important day for us, and one that should be celebrated with no excuses. The 4th of July marks our independence day. It is the day we became an independent nation, and if you ask anyone that you meet, it’s a day that makes us very proud.
I love America, and I especially enjoy being able to celebrate this day with all of the people who I love most in my life. Personally, I also think it’s the perfect time to honor all of the servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much for our country over the years, and flying army, marine corps, and navy flags is a great way to do this. It will never bring our fallen heroes back, but it can show the love and support we have for everyone who has served for their country. Of course, it’s also the perfect opportunity to watch a beautiful firework display, as well as having parties and BBQs to mark the occasion, something that gets done every year, and we all look forward to being able to do this. Gosh, I love America and the beautiful Star-Spangled Banner of our own national flag.
This is why, today, I want to share a couple of my favorite patriotic quilts from around the web. A 4th of July quilt is on the list of quilts I’d like to make, but until I get mine done here are some other awesome quilts. I hope you enjoy them, and let me know your thoughts! I’d love to hear them.
