What do you get besides books at a bookstore?
Since there aren’t any independent bookstores in my area (other than second hand shops), most of my local book shopping happens at Barnes and Noble. I love looking through the periodicals section there, and occasionally pick up one of the more expensive web development magazines that they carry, usually something like Computer Arts or Web Design. Buying one of them will cost you just as much as purchasing a paperback book, maybe more depending on your choice in books.
I also love checking out the movies and music section at Barnes & Noble. It’s a great place to find British TV shows, and music on records, which I love.
