I feel like sometimes dressing in business casual can be hard. Particularly when the only real rules in your employee handbook are “no jeans” and “no shorts.”
Fortunately, I’ve found myself a bit of a recipe for looking good at work and still being comfortable. A well tailored pair of pants (or skirt… I love skirts!), a nice fitted top, and a cardigan.
I love it because it’s an easy look to throw together on a busy morning, and can survive all the things my tiny human throws at me before I even get to the office.
I have a variety of pieces in my closet that I can quickly mix and match for a look that’s both fun and classy.

I like both of your outfits. I don’t have a uniform so much as a go to piece, which is always something quirky, I always try to make sure my outfits have something of interest. It makes me feel special.

This is one of the nice things about working from home. You wear what you want to wear; your house, your rules! In winter I tend to live in (nice) sweats and sweatshirts, in summer in loose cotton dresses and skirts. Only two students have ever sat there and looked down their noses at me, but they were fashion industry majors. If they had offered friendly advice that would be one thing, but they chose to drop the class instead. Their loss.
I like soft, loose-fitting garments in fabrics like the ones you chose, except I could never wear that yellow cardigan. Yellow, orange and chartreuse are off limits with my complexion! But that red one is just delicious. I could pair it with that skirt (always assuming it would fit my lumpish form) and live happily in it.
