We, once again, interrupt this #NaBloPoMo for a #WIPWednesday update.

Last week, I made up a super fun heart quilt for Project Quilting. You can vote for it this week on the PersimonDreams blog.

I also took my Double Wedding Ring quilt out of UFO status and started working on it again. I got all of the arcs I could make from my cut pieces completed.

I have enough to make a baby sized quilt that’s 3×4 rings, but my original plan was much larger. I even have the end pieces for the arcs already cut, so I’ll probably end up cutting more arc fabric. I have plenty.

And I’m glad the fabric is super bright and cheery. It’s just what I need with all the wintery weather outside. What crafty projects (fabric and otherwise) are you working on right now?

Well, I love the bright colors in your double wedding ring! Whatever size you make, it will be beautiful!

Thank you so much Jayne! I’m glad you stopped by. The bright colors are making me really happy right now, but they will be toned down some (or maybe they’ll pop more, I’m not sure) with the charcoal grey prints that I’m using for background.

Love the wedding ring arcs. Did one for my BF several years ago using a really cool relatively painless method of strip piecing. I’m working on a bright quilt too at the moment!

Thanks for stopping by Sandra! Bright colors are great for this time of year. With such short cloudy days it’s nice to have one or two bright things in my life.

OOOh, love that pink! And that’s saying something because I’m not much of a pink-girl in general!

I’m not usually much on pink either, but it does work really well with the other bright colors in this quilt. Thanks for stopping by.

Your heart balloons quilt is oh, so cute!!! And those bright and happy colours in your arcs really drew me in. You are right…. They sure lift the spirits!
