Farmer’s Daughter Chipotle Potato Salad

By Andrea | June 13, 2012

Recently, one of my favorite restaurants, The Farmer’s Daughter had a cooking class featuring Summer Salads.  The class was a lot of fun, even if I’m not usually a big fan of these types of foods.  At the event, she gave us some recipes and then explained her (rather organic) process of putting them together. …

By Andrea | June 8, 2012

This week on Fashion Friday, I’ve got a super cute dress that I picked up at a local store, The Graceful Lady, in Evansville.  I found a similar dress by the same company, Ya Los Angeles, at the Graceful Lady location in Ft. Branch.  Both dresses were this great red print, but I loved the…

It’s another day in the color week challenge. Today’s challenge in green!  I’m super excited about this one, because during the summer the trees, and grass mean there is a lot of green to photograph. Today is the day for yellow over at Pamplemousse for color week. Even with all of the flowers in bloom this time of year. Yellow ended up being harder to photograph than I thought it would be. There just wasn’t the variety I wanted. Yellow Read the other Color Week posts: Red Orange Green Blue

It’s Getting Crazy

By Andrea | May 28, 2012

As you may have read in some of my previous posts (here, here, here, here, and here), I’m working on a crazy quilt.  I got a lot done on it over the weekend.  My original plan for the quilt involved sashing the 12-inch blocks in a dark grey – something like Kona Cotton in Charcoal. …
