Yes, it IS January, and yes, I AM writing a post about my Christmas Crazy Quilt project. Not surprisingly, I got busy and didn’t get the quilt finished before Christmas. So I took a short break to work on another project (it’s a gift, so you have to wait to see it). But then I decided I’d better get the blocks pieced. I’m happy to report that I finished piecing all of the blocks late Saturday night/ early Sunday morning during Virtual Craft Nite. I still have lots of embroidery and embellishments to do, but that will be a nice project that will let me work away from my sewing machine when I need it.
And because I had plenty of fabric, I made myself an envelope style pillow case in matching fabrics. The thing I love most about these pillow cases is how much they add to the room for such a simple project. And yes, it’s on a pillow on my couch, because I can… and because our Christmas decorations are still up. Don’t judge. We didn’t decorate until the week before Christmas.
