Last year, I wrote a post featuring April themed projects. To me, April often means rain, but Easter falls in April this year, so let’s talk about a few great sewing projects that are great for Easter.
I am in love with this Christian Cross Watercolor Art Quilt from SusieBDesigns on Etsy.
It was actually the inspiration for my Proverbs Wall Hanging, though I think that Susie’s is much more dynamic.
But, if you’re a little more secular in your Easter decor, there are lots of fun Easter projects featuring eggs, bunnies, and the like. I really dig this carrot table runner from primsandproper on Etsy. I think it would be super fun to make several smaller versions to use as place mats for the holiday.
And you can always go a little more 3D with your projects and make this super fun door “wreath” from an old umbrella and some floral pieces. This version is from Random Thoughts from an Incoherent Mind.
Do you have any projects that just scream “April” to you? Share them!
