My Top 3 Sites for Quilting Inspiration

As you may have noticed, I’ve done quite a bit of quilting recently… and by quilting, I mean piecing, because I’m not awesome enough to do my own quilting just yet.  But, I haven’t been coming up with all the ideas myself.  As a matter of fact, I spend a ton of time surfing the internet looking for great ideas – I even have a special pinboard for quilting ideas.

Of all the sites I visit, there are a few that never seem to let me down.

3. Red Pepper Quilts

Red Pepper Quilts is the bloggy home of Rita from Melbourne, Australia.  She uses her blog to feature completed quilt projects that she sells in her Etsy Store, along with great fabrics that I might have never seen without her.  Some of my most recent inspirations from her include the Kona Modern Fun(ky) Quilt, the Low Volume Quilt, and the Neutral Study Quilt.

2. Oh, Fransson!

Oh, Fransson! is Elizabeth Hartman’s blog.  Elizabeth is the author of Modern Patchwork and The Practical Guide to Patchwork. Her Tokoyo Subway quilt was the first quilt inspiration I ever found online.

And since then, I continue to find great inspiration, like her Looptastic Quilt from Modern Patchwork.

1. Cluck, Cluck, Sew

Cluck, Cluck Sew is full of great quilting inspiration, patterns and tutorials.  As a matter of fact, the quilt I made for Lukas is based on her Road Trip Quilt Pattern.

And she has a couple other quilt patterns I can’t wait to try, including the Strip and Flip Quilt and the Squares and Strips Quilt.

What inspires you to quilt?
