Since I started sewing a couple years ago, I’ve made several projects that people might consider difficult.  You might remember the Amy Butler Weekender Bag, the Bustier Top and Dress, as well as my Colorist Quilt with curves.

So what’s my secret for making these types of difficult projects?  Just make them.  No one told me that these project were hard before I did them, so I didn’t know any better.  And while they aren’t perfect, they did turn out pretty well.  So stop listening to people who tell you that a certain type of project is difficult.  Everything is difficult if you’ve never done it before.  Have a little faith in yourself and you can do it too.
